PESHAWAR, Dec 31 (APP): The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has successfully launched a digital compensation platform to facilitate quick, transparent and efficient compensation for people affected by natural disasters across the province.
Under this new system, disaster affectees can easily submit their compensation cases through a digital process. The platform is also available to the general public via the DASTAK App, allowing citizens to register their cases directly without unnecessary delays or complications.
To ensure effective implementation, PDMA KP conducted a four-day comprehensive training program for staff of district administrations. The training focused on data collection, verification and attachment of required documents on the digital platform.
After approval of case, the compensation amount would be directly transferred to the affected bank account, ensuring timely payment and eliminating manual hurdles. The initiative aims to enhance transparency, improve service delivery and provide swift relief to those impacted by natural disasters.
