ISLAMABAD, Nov 23 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police’s Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Security, Muhammad Atique Tahir, held an orderly room at his office to ensure the timely and priority-based resolution of departmental and personal issues faced by police officers.
A police official told APP on Sunday that officers from the Security Division attended the orderly room, where they presented their personal and official concerns to the DIG Security.
He directed officers to reopen and complete inquiries in serious matters afresh, and issued orders to ensure that all pending issues are resolved on priority.
On the occasion, DIG Atique Tahir said that several welfare initiatives—such as improved housing facilities, enhanced medical services, and better educational opportunities—have already been introduced for police personnel.
He told officers that his office is always open for them, stressing that teamwork and unity are essential for improving policing and public safety in the capital.
He further emphasized that the purpose of conducting the orderly room is to address the welfare, personal, and administrative issues of police officers in a transparent and efficient manner.
