DIG met with E-challan team operators

HYDERABAD, Dec 18 (APP):A team of E-Challan operators met Thursday with Deputy Inspector General Police, Shaheed Benazirabad Range, Faisal Bashir Memon, at his office.
According to police spokesperson, the team having recently completed successful training in Karachi regarding E-Challan system called on DIG Shaheed Benazirabad Faisal Bashir Memon at the Range Office and briefed him on the system. Team informed that E-Challan system is set to be launched soon in Shaheed Benazirabad Range.
On this occasion, DIG said that the hardware, software, and camera systems for the E-Challan have been finalized and will start functioning in Shaheed Benazirabad Range within the next few days. He appealed public to avoid violating traffic laws, warning that violators will receive their challans at home through the E-Challan system.
DIG said that, keeping public convenience in view, facilitation centers have been established in all three districts of SBA Range. He said that an inquiry committee has been set up at the facility center for public assistance, comprising SSP (Chairman), DSP Traffic Sergeant, and members of the CPLC. DIG also urged citizens to wear helmets while riding motorcycles, refrain from using tinted glasses in vehicles, support the law, and respect traffic rules.
