HYDERABAD, Oct 16 (APP):Deputy Inspector General Police (DIGP) Shaheed Benazirabad Range, Faisal Bashir Memon, held a meeting at the Range Office with representatives of the Hindu community, accompanied by the SSPs of all three districts of SBA Range.
During the meeting, DIG listened to the issues and concerns of the Hindu community and assured them of timely resolution.
On this occasion, DIG extended heartfelt Diwali greetings to the Hindu community, participated in lighting of lamps, cut a cake and emphasized the promotion of religious harmony, unity, and brotherhood.
DIG also directed that strict and comprehensive security arrangements be ensured during Diwali celebrations so that citizens may celebrate their religious festival peacefully and without fear.
DIG reiterated that police remain fully committed to safeguarding the public, maintaining interfaith harmony, and ensuring law and order throughout the region.
