Dera Ismail Khan , Jul 24 (APP):Police arrested 30 individuals, including several proclaimed offenders wanted in serious criminal cases, during a targeted Search and Strike Operation conducted under the ongoing crackdown on criminal elements.
According to a spokesperson for Dera Ismail Khan Police, the operation was carried out under the supervision of District Police Officer Sajjad Ahmad Sahibzada and led by SDPO Sadar Circle Syed Saghir Abbas Gilani along with SHO Muhammad Ali Khan of Dera Town Police Station.
Among those apprehended were multiple proclaimed offenders involved in serious crimes including murder. The arrested suspects include Aqib, son of Hakim, resident of Budh; Syed Muhammad Ali Shah, son of Muhammad Ashfaq Hussain Shah; Syed Abdullah Shah, son of Mushtaq Hussain; Tufail Shah, son of Chan Shah; Sibtain Shah, son of Murtaza Shah; Syed Mureed Abbas, son of Bashir Hussain Shah; Syed Samar Abbas, son of Sibtain Shah; Syed Ashfaq Hussain, son of Syed Mushtaq; and Syed Ali Hussain, son of Ghulam Shabbir Shah, all residents of Kotla Syedan.
Additionally, Aziz Ahmad, son of Bashir Ahmad; Jalaluddin, son of Imam Bakhsh; and Babar, son of Imam Bakhsh, all residents of Zafarabad Colony were also taken into custody.
During the operation, 18 more individuals were detained for questioning based on suspicion of involvement in unlawful activities. The police are conducting further investigations as part of the district-wide campaign against criminal elements.
The Dera Ismail Khan Police reaffirmed their commitment to impartial and sustained action against all individuals involved in criminal acts, aiming to maintain peace and ensure public safety across the region.
