Deputy commissioner reviews development projects

SIALKOT, Jul 24 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Sialkot Muhammad Zulqarnain reviewed project including revamping of Sardar Begum Teaching Hospital and remodeling and redesigning of Social Welfare Complex and inspected the ongoing construction work on the project on Wednesday.
He said that according to the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the ongoing development projects would be completed within the stipulated timeline and the quality of the projects would also be ensured so that the project proved to be sustainable and people could benefit from the facility for a long time.
He inspected the green-belts of Kashmir Road and the local PHA officials issued instructions regarding grass-cutting and plantation.
The DC also visited the Seerat Study Centre Sialkot Cantt and inspected the books on life and teachings of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
Earlier, DC Zulqarnain reviewed the basic indicators to improve departmental performance on behalf of chief minister Punjab. He directed the assistant commissioners of four tehsils to conduct an awareness campaign about registration on the Punjab Chief Minister’s ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ App and said that registered facilitator for documents at home service for doorstep services would be paid Rs. 950 per service.
DC Zulqarnain said that steps were being taken to improve municipal services and in this regard daily review was being done as per the instructions of Punjab chief minister.
