LODHRAN, Jan 01 (APP):Deputy Commissioner, Muhammad Ashraf, on Wednesday visited the Dhanot area of Tehsil Karor Pacca to offer condolences to the parents of seven-year-old Rehan, who had died after falling into sewer manhole.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner expressed deep sympathy with the bereaved family. On behalf of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, he handed over a compensation cheque of Rs1 million to the child’s father.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Muhammad Ashraf said that the Punjab government stands shoulder to shoulder with the grieving family.
Former MPA Shah Muhammad Joiya, Assistant Commissioner Kahror Pacca Asghar Laghari, Chaudhary Kashif Islam and other were also present during the visit.
