Nawabshah, Nov 16 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad, Abdul Samad Nizamani, on Sunday has issued strict directives to all revenue officers of the talukas, stating that Sindh Government is working seriously to provide relief to farmers.
He instructed revenue officers to ensure that mutation records of farmers’ land are prepared without any delay.
The Deputy Commissioner said that he would personally conduct surprise visits to various tehsils to inspect special desks established for farmers and gather information directly from them. He said that if any complaint was received regarding delays or issues in the mutation process, strict legal action would be taken against the concerned revenue officer and staff.
The DC advised the farmers to submit their applications for land mutation at their respective Mukhtiarkar offices. In case of any problem, farmers may also visit the Deputy Commissioner’s office for assistance, he said.
