HYDERABAD, Oct 20 (APP):The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) have rounded up 2 suspected terrorists associated with Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA) in a raid near Qasimabad grid station.
According to a press statement issued on Monday, suspects Abdul Raheem Khoso and Ghulam Shabbir Noohani were wanted by the police due to their alleged anti state activities.
The CTD recovered receipt books used for terror financing, cash, a magazine containing anti state literature, a pistol and live bullets from possession of the suspects.
The two were later booked in the FIR at the CTD police station on the state’s complaint, under sections 11-F (6) and 34 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC); 11N, 11W and 21 (1) of Anti Terrorism Act, 1997; and section 23 (1) of Sindh Arms Act, 2013.
The CTD apprised that Khoso was absconding in the department’s FIR numbers 4/2025 and 5/2025.
He was also allegedly involved in the armed attack on the CTD’s mobile on April 16 in Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, Noohani was also booked in the FIR number 12/2025, which was lodged under sections 6/7 of Anti Terrorism Act and 4/5 of the Explosives Act, 1908.
