According to an RPO spokesperson, the two officials reviewed the deployment around the stadium, where Alpa directed officers and personnel to remain fully alert while performing security duties.
The RPO said public confidence was the police force’s greatest strength, adding that ensuring a safe environment for cricket fans and players was a top priority.
He further instructed officers and personnel at duty points to maintain public-friendly conduct and uphold professionalism throughout the match.
The two teams will play the second and third ODIs of their three-match series at the same venue on November 13 and 15.
