SARGODHA, Dec 01 (APP): Commissioner of Sargodha Division, Jahanzeb Awan, chaired a weekly meeting on Monday to review the progress of various development projects, including city beautification, and assess the targets set for different departments.
According to a spokesperson from the Commissioner’s office, Deputy Commissioner Captain (R) Muhammad Wasim, relevant officials, and citizen representative Professor Muhammad Habib also attended the meeting.
The meeting was briefed on the rapid progress of work on the city road, the completion of detailed planning for two new parks in Block 23, and the upcoming launch of a major sewerage project under the Chief Minister’s special package, set to begin this month.
Additionally, the Deputy Director of the Food Authority presented a performance report for the past week.
During the meeting, Commissioner Awan emphasized the importance of maintaining high quality in ongoing development projects and completing them within the specified timelines. He also instructed officers to intensify efforts to restore and preserve Sargodha’s historical identity.
