RAWALPINDI, Mar 05 (APP):Commissioner Rawalpindi, Engr Aamir Khattak on Wednesday visited Ramadan Sahulat bazaar set up in Allama Iqbal Park Double Road, where he reviewed the prices, availability and quality of essential commodities.
According to the details, the Commissioner also conversed with customers, inquiring about the facilities provided in the Bazaar.
Additional Deputy Commissioner General gave a briefing on the current and required stock of commodities, saying that efforts were being made by the administration to provide quality and affordable items to the people, so that citizens can get maximum facility during Ramadan.
Commissioner directed that the rate board be prominently displayed on both sides of the market. He said that quality should also be ensured along with the supply of items at fixed rates. Certificate from the Food Authority must be taken to ensure the quality of all the items.
He directed to set up a separate desk of Rescue 1122 in the Ramadan Sahulat Bazar to guide consumers. He said that the number of stalls should be increased if needed so that the citizens would not have to wait in cues.
