DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Dec 18 (APP):Commissioner Dera Division, Dawood Khan, has directed the departments concerned to ensure the completion of the construction of the Girls Cadet College (GCC) within the stipulated deadline, with strict adherence to quality standards.
He issued these instructions during his visit to the under-construction, near-completion campus in Dera Ismail Khan.
The commissioner was accompanied by Regional Police Officer Syed Ashfaq Anwar, Vice Principal Afia Saadat, Additional Deputy Commissioner Farhan Khan, Assistant to Commissioner (Political and Development) Sajjad Baloch, along with officers from the Communication and Works Department and planning wing.
During the visit, Additional Deputy Commissioner Farhan Khan briefed the commissioner on the project’s progress, overall design, and key administrative and academic components.
He said the GCC would be a major step towards providing quality education, discipline, and leadership training to female students.
Commissioner Dawood Khan inspected various sections of the project and reviewed construction quality, facilities, and timelines.
He stressed that all development work must be completed on time and warned against any compromise on construction standards. He emphasized that transparency, quality, and timely execution must remain the top priorities in all public welfare projects.
He noted that institutions like the GCC would play a vital role in promoting female education and empowerment in the region.
Praising the efforts of the officers involved, he urged them to continue working with coordination and a strong sense of responsibility.
The commissioner further directed that, upon completion, effective operational planning be ensured so the institution becomes fully functional at the earliest, enabling the public to benefit from the project without delay.
