SARGODHA, Dec 01 (APP):Commissioner Sargodha Division, Jahanzeb Awan, inspected
Dr Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital here on Monday and reviewed the medical facilities and services being provided to patients.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Headquarters Majid Ahmed and Assistant Commissioner General (ACG) Mujahid Abbas also accompanied the Commissioner.
During his visit to Outpatient Department (OPD), the Commissioner directed the hospital administration to increase the number of benches and install a modern screen display system to manage the influx of patients.
“Patients should not have to stand in long queues outside doctors’ rooms.
Instead, they should be able to sit comfortably in the waiting area and track their turn on digital screens,” the Commissioner stated.
He also reviewed the availability of medicines in the hospital, making it clear that no medicine should be out of stock. He issued strict instructions for the regular monitoring of medicine quality and stock levels.
The Commissioner emphasized that, following the directives of the Chief Minister Punjab, the provincial government’s primary focus was to provide quality public health facilities to citizens, and all possible measures were being taken to achieve the goal.
Later, the Commissioner, accompanied by ADC General Majid Ahmed, visited City Road to inspect the ongoing work by FESCO under the City Beautification Project.
He directed the officials concerned to ensure that all development and renovation projects were completed within the stipulated time while maintaining high-quality standards to provide a better and beautiful environment for citizens.
