CHINIOT, Dec 4 (APP): Commissioner Faisalabad Raja Jahangir Anwar, paid a surprise visit on Thursday to DHQ Hospital Chiniot and inspected various wards, including the emergency department.
According to APP correspondent, he expressed strong displeasure over poor cleanliness arrangements and imposed a fine of Rs. 500,000 on the sanitation contractor.
He warned the contractor, stating that if the performance does not improve, he will also be blacklisted.
He further announced that he will visit the hospital again after one week to review compliance with the issued instructions.
Jahangir Anwar directed the hospital administration that all medicines must be provided by the hospital itself, and purchasing medicines from outside is strictly prohibited.
Commissioner’s visit aims to ensure quality healthcare services and improve the overall infrastructure of the hospital. The hospital administration has been directed to take immediate action to address the issues highlighted during the inspection.
