Cold, dry weather likely across most districts of KP

PESHAWAR, Jan 30 (APP):The Meteorological Department on Friday forecast cold and dry weather for most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the next 24 hours, while upper and mountainous areas are likely to experience severe cold with partly cloudy conditions.

The department stated that rain is expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Abbottabad, Kohistan, and Torghar districts.

Meanwhile, Batagram, Mansehra, and Kurram districts may experience rain accompanied by strong winds, with snowfall expected over the mountains.

The report further said that fog may develop at a few places in the plain areas of the province, which could affect visibility.
