CM’s special assistant visits Lahore cattle markets, reviews arrangements

LAHORE, Jun 05 (APP):Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Punjab, Rashid Iqbal Nasrullah, paid a visit to various cattle markets in Lahore on Thursday to inspect the arrangements and facilities being provided to the public and livestock traders ahead of Eid-ul-Adha.
During the visit, Rashid Iqbal Nasrullah reviewed the overall management of the markets and issued clear directives to ensure the welfare of both animals and visitors. He emphasized that providing maximum convenience to the public is a top priority of the Punjab government.
“Shaded areas and proper water arrangements for animals must be ensured,” he said, adding that there will be no compromise on the health and welfare of the animals. He also instructed market administrators to maintain transparency in pricing and transactions.
He interacted with buyers and traders, listened to their concerns, and assured immediate redressal of any complaints. He reiterated that, in light of Eid-ul-Adha, all relevant departments are working together to provide the best possible facilities in cattle markets across the province.
