LAHORE, Oct 29 (APP):Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday extended heartfelt felicitations to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the people of Turkiye on the occasion of their Republic Day.
In her message, the chief minister said that relations between Pakistan and Turkiye were deeply rooted in brotherhood, mutual respect, and shared values. She said Turkiye was a brotherly nation, and the people of Pakistan wholeheartedly shared the joy of their Turkish brothers and sisters on this auspicious day.
CM Maryam Nawaz prayed for Turkiye’s continued progress, prosperity, and stability, saying that the long-standing relationship between the two countries transcended diplomatic ties and represented a historic bond between two great nations united by faith and friendship.
Acknowledging President Erdogan’s visionary leadership, the CM said that Turkiye had made remarkable strides in development and global stature under his guidance. She added that growing cooperation in culture, trade, and tourism was strengthening the enduring friendship between Pakistan and Turkiye, expressing her hope that this brotherly relationship would continue to flourish in the years ahead.
