SINJAWI, Nov 02 (APP): Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti while addressing a large public gathering in Sinjawi on Sunday, reaffirming his government’s commitment to the fair and effective use of public resources to deliver essential services to the province’s most remote areas.
Speaking at the event hosted by Provincial Minister for Food Haji Noor Muhammad Dummar, CM Bugti emphasized that development funds must be utilized transparently and efficiently to ensure long-term, sustainable public welfare.
The Chief Minister announced several key initiatives aimed at improving healthcare and public administration in Sinjawi.
The Chief Minister announced that the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital will be expanded into a fully functional 20-bed facility. The project will be implemented through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model to ensure high-quality medical services.
Sarfraz Bugti said that a new Administration Complex will be constructed in Sinjawi to streamline governance and service delivery.
To enhanced security in the area, he said four new police stations will be established to strengthen law and order in the region.
Underscoring the government’s focus on education, CM Sarfraz Bugti announced several measures to support students and teachers and two new buses will be provided for students and staff of Sanjawi’s Boys and Girls Colleges.
The Quaid-e-Azam Cadet College Sinjawi will receive new academic blocks and four additional buses to improve infrastructure and student mobility.
Sarfraz Bugti said that under school reactivation fourteen non-functional schools in Sinjawi and Ziarat will be fully reactivated and made operational immediately after the winter break.
He said that the shortage of teachers is being addressed through transparent, merit-based hiring, aimed at raising educational standards across the region.
CM Bugti also responded to long-standing public demands and announced the expedited resolution of land settlement issues in Sinjawi.
He announced the construction of the Sinjawi Bypass Road to improve regional connectivity.
The Chief Minister confirmed that the demand to grant district status to Sanjawi is under active consideration and will be prioritized in future administrative restructuring.
Defending the government’s decision to convert B-Areas into A-Areas—transferring administrative control from Levies to Police, CM Bugti acknowledged the move may be controversial but described it as essential for long-term stability and effective governance.
“This decision is a necessity of the time. It may not be popular, but it is a guarantee for peace and order,” he added.
