QUETTA, Nov 11 (APP):Balochistan Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Tuesday expressed deep sorrow over the demise of senior leader of the PML-N, Senator and prominent intellectual Irfan Siddiqui.
In his condolence statement issued here, he said that Irfan Siddiqui was a veteran writer, a kind teacher, a serious politician and a personality with a deep commitment to science and literature.
He said that his scholarly insight, intellectual depth and balanced opinion on national issues always provided guidance.
The Chief Minister said that Irfan Siddiqui, as a senator, columnist and researcher, left a deep impression on the intellectual and political landscape of Pakistan saying that he was a personality who introduced seriousness, decency and the conduct of reason in the national discourse.
He prayed that may Allah Almighty grant the departed souls a high rank in Jannah and give their bereaved families patience and strength to bear this loss with fortitude.
He said that the death of Irfan Siddiqui is an irreparable loss to the intellectual and literary circles of Pakistan, and his services would always be remembered in the country
