Of the victims, 19 were men and four were women. The department’s rapid response teams rescued all those involved, providing immediate care at the scene.
Fourteen of the injured were treated for minor injuries and released after on-site medical aid, while nine suffered serious injuries and were transferred to nearby hospitals in Rescue 1122 ambulances after receiving first-aid. The swift actions of the emergency crews helped prevent further complications and ensured that the seriously injured received timely hospital treatment.
District Emergency officials praised the coordinated effort of their staff, emphasizing that the quick deployment of resources and the use of dedicated rescue vehicles are key to reducing fatalities and mitigating the impact of road accidents across Chiniot.
