CHINIOT, Nov 5 (APP): The Environmental Protection Department has intensified its anti-smog measures in Chiniot, demolishing another brick kiln operating without zigzag technology.In this regard on Wednesday, Deputy Director Dr. Hana reported while exclusively talking to APP, that the department inspected new brick kilns and took action against violators, issuing a notice and a fine of Rs. 100,000 to one owner.
Dr. Hana emphasized that inspections are ongoing, with immediate action taken against violators. The department is committed to reducing smog and improving air quality in Chiniot.
The Faisalabad Waste Management Company is also contributing to the anti-smog efforts, spraying water on roads daily to reduce dust and control smog.
