SWABI, Oct 17 (APP): Chairman Board of Governors (BoGs), Salahuddin Qasim on Friday visited Bacha Khan Medical Complex (BKMC) and Gajju Khan Medical College (GKMC) Shah Mansoor Swabi and reviewed progress on ongoing prjects.
Upon arrival, he was warmly received by Dean GKMC, Hospital Director, Medical Director, Nursing Director, Hospital Directors of both Tehsil Headquarters Hospitals, Principal of Nigar College of Nursing, Associate Dean and other administrative officials.
During the visit, the chairman was given a comprehensive briefing on all ongoing development projects in college and hospital. He inspected the under-construction Gajju Khan Medical College project, where hostel and storage facilities
are currently being developed.
Later, the chairman visited the newly established laboratory built above the new emergency department. He was briefed in detail about its operations and facilities being provided to patients.
The Chairman also inspected the proposed sites for the Regional Blood Centre, Cath Lab, and MRI Unit and directed the concerned authorities to complete all necessary measures on time.
He also discussed the proposal to affiliate Nigar College of Nursing with Gajju Khan Medical College.
