PESHAWAR, Dec 08 (APP):The accident of BRT bus occurred due to sudden illness of the driver who fell unconscious and lost control of the vehicle.
According to Trans Peshawar spokesperson, Sadaf Kamil, all passengers and the driver in the bus are completely safe.
The driver could not control the bus due to illness while driving, as a result of which the vehicle hit the guardrail.
The accident occurred between the University of Peshawar and Islamia College stations. Rescue and medical teams immediately reached the spot and provided medical facilities to the driver.
The BRT administration considers the safety of passengers as its top priority and all safety measures are constantly monitored to prevent such incidents, statement added.
