Boy electrocuted

GUJRAT, Jul 22 (APP):A 13-year-old boy was electrocuted after coming into contact with a high-voltage power line while retrieving a kite in Mohalla Rehmata Bad, here on Tuesday.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the victim, Ali Nazir , was chasing a stray kite on a rooftop near Street No 5, Sargodha Road, when he accidentally fell onto an 11-kilovolt live wire. He died on the spot.

The Rescue 1122, with assistance of WAPDA staff, retrieved the body from the wires.
In accordance with the family’s request, the body was handed over to relatives without a postmortem.
