Bazm-e-Adab special session commemorates youm-e-takbeer, operation Bunyan um  Marsoos

HAVELIAN, Jun 01 (APP):A special session of the monthly Bazm-e-Adab was held at Government Model High School, Havelian, to commemorate Youm-e-Takbeer and Operation Bunyan um Marsoos.
Wing Commander (Retired) Ayaz Khan Jadoon was the chief guest and former Principal Zia Shahid as the guest of honour.
Chief guest Ayaz Khan Jadoon highlighted the historical and strategic significance of May 28, focusing on Pakistan’s nuclear capabilities and national defense. He praised the legendary war hero MM Alam and acknowledged the courage and sacrifices of the Mujahideen involved in Operation Bunyanun Marsoos. He noted that the operation was intentionally limited in scope to avoid reshaping the regional geopolitical dynamics.
Guest of honor Zia Shahid reflected on the circumstances surrounding Youm-e-Takbeer and encouraged students to prioritize patriotism above all else.
The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Zain-ul-Abideen, followed by Urdu and English translations presented by Haider Ali and Abdul Rehman. A naat was recited by Farhan and Abrar, adding a spiritual touch to the event.
Speeches on Youm-e-Takbeer and the theme Ma’rakah-e-Haq were delivered by Jasim Abbasi, Aaqib, Ehsan, Amanullah, Zia-ur-Rehman, and Muhibullah in both Urdu and English. Abdullah’s team performed a patriotic song, while Atif Usman and his peers presented the national anthem.
During the ceremony, outstanding student performers were honored with commemorative shields presented by the chief guest. A special reception by the school’s scout squad welcomed the guests upon their arrival.
Earlier, while welcoming guest principal Muneer Ahmed Awan emphasized the institution’s commitment to developing leadership qualities among students, stating that the monthly event provides a platform for high-performing students to showcase their talents.
