RAWALPINDI, Jul 23 (APP):Bani Police arrested a two-member gang allegedly involved in motorcycle thefts and armed robberies on Wednesday.
During the operation, six stolen motorcycles, Rs. 12,000 in cash, and illegal weapons were recovered from their possession.
According to police spokesman, the gang was actively involved in snatching motorcycles and robbing citizens at gunpoint in various parts of the city.
Acting on credible intelligence, Bani Police carried out the raid and apprehended both members of the gang.
Police have registered separate cases against both of them and further investigation was in progress.
SP Rawal Muhammad Haseeb Raja commended police team and stated that the arrested accused will be presented in court with solid evidence.
He made it clear that operations against criminal elements will be continued to ensure the safety and security of the people.
