Balochistan Cabinet reiterates its resolve to root out terrorism from the province

QUETTA, Sep 4 (APP):Spokesperson of Balochistan government Shahid Rind on Wednesday said that the government reiterated its resolve to establish its writ, not leave the nation in hands of armed mobs and all efforts would be taken to root out terrorism from the province.
Addressing media persons on cabinet meeting, Shahid Rind said that Balochistan government is providing higher education in the world’s top universities including Harvard and Oxford on scholarship while terrorists organization were attracting them to subversive activities.
The meeting of the provincial cabinet was held here on Wednesday at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti.
Shahid Rind said the chief minister has asked that the people of Balochistan have to decide who are educating their children and who is pushing them towards sabotage. The spokesperson said that the chief minister in cabinet meeting vowed that the government will not leave the innocent people in the hand of armed groups and would maintain the writ of the state at any cost.
He said that the youth of Balochistan have to decide their future and the banned organizations who were violating the Baloch traditions. Shahid Rind said that the cabinet has strongly condemned the incidents of terrorism occurred on 26 August and offered Fatiha for those martyred in these incidents.
In the meeting, the chief minister vowed to maintain the continuity of reforms for the improvement of governance and directed all the ministers and secretaries to visit the districts and play an active role in resolving the public issues.
The Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that the provincial government is trying to resolve the problems faced by the people through good governance for sustainable development.
Sarfraz Bugti said that we have to work for the people of Balochistan and the benefits of government initiatives would reach the people in real sense.
Shahid Rind said that the Balochistan cabinet approved the e-commerce implementation plan which will be accelerated economic activities in the region.
Under this plan, measures will be taken to provide opportunities and access to the youth, including women, to global and national markets, which will enhance employment opportunities.
He added that the cabinet has approved the Code of Criminal Procedure Amendment Bill to improve the governance.
Under this amendment, administrative officers would be assigned magisterial powers to prevent inflation, improve municipal services and protect public interest.
He said the chief minister has directed to form three different categories to prepare comprehensive recommendations for payment of compensation to various martyrs of Levies Force.
The cabinet also taken decisions for the development and improvement of the fisheries sector under which it was decided to reorganize the Pasni Fish Harbor.
The cabinet approved the hiring of experts to locate and implement the project for the establishment of the new fish harbor site and also directed the authorities concerned to consult the local fishermen in this regard.
The Balochistan Cabinet has also approved the Endowment Fund policy for the Fisheries sector which will increase the resources for the welfare of the fishermen. The services of Levies personnel will be handed over to the Fisheries Department.
The cabinet also approved the increase in the production of mangroves in the Charna Island Marine Protected Area and in this regard, Secretary Forest Dostin Khan Jamaldini was directed to prepare comprehensive recommendations.
The cabinet also approved an appropriate increase in the charges related to Balochistan Solid Waste Management.
The chief minister of Balochistan has directed all secretaries to ensure timely presence in the cabinet meeting as per the agenda with full preparation, he added.
The chief minister said that all the decisions of the provincial government are aimed to improve the living standard of the common man of the province.
