LAHORE, Jan 03 (APP):The Air Quality Index (AQI) of the provincial capital stood at 204, placing air quality in the very unhealthy category. The concentration of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) was recorded at 25.8 times higher than the World Health Organization’s annual PM2.5 guideline value, posing serious health risks, particularly for children, the elderly, and individuals with respiratory or heart conditions.
