GUJRAT, Oct 31 (APP):On the directives of Secretary of the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Gujrat Sardar Saddam Hussain, special teams continued operations against smoke-emitting vehicles as part of the ongoing anti-smog and pollution control campaign.
According to an RTA spokesperson, vehicles were checked at various locations across the district, during which several were issued warnings while fines were imposed for violations of environmental regulations.
Sardar Saddam Hussain emphasized that strict implementation of traffic laws, regular vehicle maintenance, and public cooperation are essential to curb smog and ensure a cleaner environment.
