ANF seizes over 209 kg of drugs worth Rs 29.5 million in nationwide operations

RAWALPINDI, Nov 11 (APP):The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), conducting 3 operations across the country, recovered as many as 209.83 kilograms of narcotics worth Rs 29.5 million and arrested 2 suspects, an ANF Headquarters spokesman said on Tuesday. RAWALPINDI, Nov 11 (APP):The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), conducting 3 operations across the country, recovered as many as 209.83 kilograms of narcotics worth Rs 29.5 million and arrested 2 suspects, an ANF Headquarters spokesman said on Tuesday.
He informed that 350 ecstasy tablets weighing 230 grams were seized from an accused near the university area on Ring Road, Peshawar. The suspect reportedly admitted to selling drugs to students of educational institutions.
In another operation, 9.6 kilograms of hashish were recovered from a motorcyclist near Hazro Toll Plaza, Attock.
Similarly, ANF recovered 200 kilograms of opium in an operation carried out in Nokundi District, Chagai.
Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act, while further investigations are in progress.
