SARGODHA, Nov 28 (APP): A ceremony was held under the auspices of Alkhidmat Foundation Sargodha to distribute sewing machines among skilled and deserving women as part of its Microfinance Project aimed at promoting dignified employment and women’s economic empowerment.
According to press release issued here on Friday, The event was attended by officials from the Alkhidmat Women Wing, including Saeeqa Muneeza, Mughira Naeem, and Rashida Arshad, who participated as special guests.
Sewing machines were distributed free of cost to women from various areas of the city and surrounding localities who possess tailoring skills but lack financial resources.
Speaking on the occasion, representatives of the Women Wing stated that the initiative aims to support skilled women by providing them with sustainable livelihood opportunities and helping them achieve economic independence.
They also encouraged the beneficiaries to utilize their abilities to generate income and contribute positively to their households.
The participants appreciated Alkhidmat Foundation’s continuous efforts to uplift underprivileged women and promote self-reliance through skill-based support programs.
