RAWALPINDI, Feb 10 (APP): The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), Rawalpindi has once again issued non-bailable arrest warrants against Aleema Khanum who is nominated in the case registered at Sadiqabad Police Station 26 November protest, due to her repeated failure to appear in court.
During the hearing held on Wednesday, neither Aleema Khanum nor her lawyer appeared before the court.
Special Prosecutor Zaheer Shah was present in court on behalf of the prosecution.
The court observed that there is no justification for the accused’s absence, nor has any exemption been granted.
The court accepted the prosecution’s request to include Salman Niaz among the list of witnesses.
The next hearing has been adjourned till Wednesday.
