AIMS Pakistan announces establishment of modern diabetes hospital in Peshawar

PESHAWAR, Nov 17 (APP):AIMS Pakistan on Monday unveiled plans for a state-of-the-art Diabetes Hospital in Hayatabad area here during an inaugural ceremony presided over by AIMS Founder Dr. Zia ul Hassan.
The event was chaired by Dr. Zia ul Hassan, the Head and Founder of AIMS.
The ceremony brought together the President and Senior Vice President of the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce, prominent members of Peshawar’s business community, heads of medical institutions, and directors of various NGOs, reflecting broad support for the initiative.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Zia ul Hassan highlighted that AIMS Diabetes Hospital has already provided free screening and treatment to over 20,000 diabetes patients across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He announced plans for an 8-storey modern Diabetes Hospital, to be constructed on a plot allocated by the Diabetes Association in Hayatabad Phase 5. The project carries an estimated cost of Rs 1.04 billion.
Dr. Zia ul Hassan, along with Dr. Roh-ul-Muqeem, appealed to philanthropists and the business community of Peshawar and KP to extend financial support for the successful completion of the hospital, which aims to significantly enhance diabetes care in the region.
