KOHAT, Nov 4 (APP): Assistant Commissioner (AC) Kohat, Dr. Nida Iqbal, paid a visit to Government High School Lalgarhi to address mounting concerns over stalled construction work and infrastructural challenges faced by students.
According to APP correspondent, Dr. Nida listened to complaints from school staff and community members regarding the suspension of construction on two new classrooms.
She also inspected school attendance records and administrative documentation to assess the overall functioning of the institution.
The local community warmly welcomed Dr. Iqbal’s presence, expressing optimism that her intervention would lead to the resumption of halted construction and resolution of long-standing issues. “We hope this visit marks a turning point for Lalgarhi School,” said one resident, reflecting the sentiments of many.
Currently, the school suffers from a severe shortage of classrooms. To accommodate students, one room has been borrowed from the adjacent primary school, and another has been re-purposed from the staff room.
