RAWALPINDI, Sep 08 (APP):Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) while conducting five operations across the country, managed to arrest seven accused and recovered 123 kg of drugs from their possession.
According to an ANF Headquarters spokesman here on Friday, in two operations near Motorway Toll Plaza Islamabad, ANF special force have recovered 70.8 kg charras and 14.4 kg opium from secret cavities of two vehicles. Four accused residents of Attock were netted during the operations.
In the third operation near Car Chowk Rawalpindi, 1 kg charras was recovered from the possession of an accused, a resident of Khyber.
In the fourth operation on the National Highway near Hyderabad, 30 kg charras were recovered and ANF arrested a drug smuggler, a resident of Quetta.
The spokesman informed that in the fifth operation, 7.2 kg charras were recovered from the possession of an accused, a resident of Khyber, arrested from the Hayatabad area in Peshawar.
“Separate cases have been registered against the accused while further investigations are under process,” he added.
