FAISALABAD, Dec 13 (APP): The police arrested 65 criminals involved in serious crimes during 24 hours in a crackdown in Faisalabad.
Police Spokesman Tariq Jatt said that the police arrested 21 drug peddlers and recovered 5.725 kilograms (kg) hashish, 1.4 kg heroin, 1.04 kg ice drug, 11 kg bhang, 45 liters liquor (pounda) and 446 liters alcohol.
He said that police also arrested six accused involved in possessing illegal weapons and recovered arms from them.
Similarly, 14 proclaimed offenders involved in serious crimes were also apprehended while 18 court absconders were also arrested during the ongoing operations.
