42 ASP trainees visit Karachi Police Office under specialized training programme

KARACHI, Dec 01 (APP):A group of 42 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASP) undergoing training at the National Police Academy (NPA) Islamabad visited the Karachi Police Office on Monday as part of the 52nd Specialized Training Programme.
The delegation was received by the DIGP Administration Karachi, said a news release.
NPA Commandant Muhammad Idrees Ahmed, Deputy Commandant Sarfaraz Ahmed Falki, DIGP Administration, DIGP CIA, zonal DIGPs, and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
Additional IGP Karachi briefed the visiting officers on the city’s overall law-and-order situation, crime patterns, and the strategies adopted to curb criminal activity. He also highlighted the challenges of policing a mega city like Karachi, given its population size and ground realities.
Sharing insights from his professional career, the Additional IGP explained that recent capacity-building measures have strengthened the performance of Karachi Police, with promising results.
At the conclusion of the visit, the NPA officers presented a commemorative shield to the Additional IGP Karachi. The Karachi Police Chief also handed commemorative shields and gifts to members of the delegation.
The Additional IGP expressed hope that the trainees would serve with professionalism, responsibility, and a commitment to public safety in the future.
