RAWALPINDI, Oct 09 (APP):The District Health Authority (DHA) reported 24 new dengue confirmations across Rawalpindi in the past 24 hours, contributing to a total of 889 cases from 13,190 patients screened by hospitals.
According to the latest statistics released by DHA, currently, 58 confirmed cases are admitted in hospitals, with zero death in the year so far.
Vector surveillance through 1,361dedicated teams to inspect premises shows over 5.6 houses were inspected, finding 1,77,529 positive, and over 1.5 spots, identified 23,801 spots where 201,330 larvae were destroyed.
The data reveals punitive against violations has resulted in 4,477 FIRs, 1,854 sealings, 3,504 challans, and fines totaling Rs 10,906,507.
The hotspots with fresh cases in the past include Chaman Zaar Colony, CTR-18, Dhoke Munshi, Choantra, CTR-9, Gangal, CTC-6, Dhamial, CTC-9, Dhoke Hassu North, Khayaban e Sir Syed North, CTR-14, Dhoke Kala Khan, Lakkhan, Shakrial South, Dhoke Khabba, Pindora, and Wah Cantt.
