LAHORE, Jul 19 (APP):The Lahore police registered 17,371 cases over electricity theft so far this year and arrested 16,841 suspects.
A spokesperson said on Friday that 2,322 suspects were arrested in Iqbal Town, 2,836 in Saddar, 4,947 in Cantonment, 2,727 in Model Town, 3,052 in City and 957 in Civil Lines division.
Capital City Police Officer Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana said full support was being provided to the relevant departments for preventing electricity theft.
