SARGODHGA, Dec 01 (APP):Traffic police registered 162 cases against the motorists for
violating various traffic rules and issued 839 challans in the
city during the last 24 hours.
According to police, 60 cases were registered for not possessing
driving licenses, 42 for one-way violation, 9 vehicles for plying
without fitness certificates, 5 for overloading, 35 over-dimensional
vehicles, 6 vehicles with tinted windows and 5 for not wearing seat belts.
Police officials say that action against traffic violations will be stricter
in coming days.
