RAWALPINDI, Jul 24 (APP):Police have arrested nine illegal arms holders and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession during crackdown here on Wednesday.
According to police spokesman, R.A Bazaar police held two illegal arm holders Adil, Waqar and recovered 02 pistol 30 bore from their possession.
Similarly, Chakri police nabbed Zakir and recovered Kalashankov from his possession.
While, Kahuta police apprehended Yasir and recovered 01 rifle 44 bore from his possession.
Following operation, Chontra police arrested Imran and recovered 01 pistol 30 bore from him.
Additionally, Rata Amaral police recovered 01 pistol 30 bore from Adil. Bani police recovered 01 pistol 30 bore from Sahil.
Naseerabad police recovered 01 pistol 30 bore from Saeed. Similarly Taxila police also recovered 01 pistol 30 bore from Saeed.
Police have registered separate cases against the accused and further investigation was in progress.
Divisional SPs commended police team and said that strict action will be continued against those carrying illegal weapons.
