Shipping Activity at Port Qasim
KARACHI, Apr 01 (APP):Three ships, Westerly, Vienna Wood and Propel Wisdom scheduled to load/offload Container, Furnace Oil and Coal, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, FOTCO oil Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal respectively on Tuesday.
Meanwhile another ship ‘Ameena Jahan’ carrying Coal also arrived at outer anchorage on Wednesday.
Seven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Westerly and Chem Silicon left the port on Wednesday morning .
Cargo volume of 109,856 tones comprising 58,365 tones imports cargo and 51,491 export cargo carried in 2,428 Containers (38 TEUs Imports & 2,930 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
Eight ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them a edible oil carrier ‘Solar Catic’ & another containers ship ‘CMA CGM Ganges’ carrying Palm oil and Container expected to take berth at LCT and QICT on Wednesday.
