KARACHI, Nov 24 (APP):Four ships, Souther Anoa, SSI Resolute, Serengeti Park and Sarwat Gas, carrying Palm oil, Soya Bean Seed, Chemicals and LPG, berthed at Liquid Cargo Terminal, Grain Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and Sui Southern Gas Terminal respectively on Sunday.
Meanwhile, four more ships, Mansour-K, Xin Ao Tai-1, Navigator Leo and Marmara-S, scheduled to load/offload Rice, Palm oil, LPG and Coal, also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
Seven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Taokas Wisdom and Maritime Valor, left the port today morning, while another ship, ‘Sarwat Gas’ expected to sail today afternoon.
Cargo volume of 47,887 tonnes, comprising 46,557 tonnes of import cargo and 1,330 export cargo, was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
Eleven ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them three ships, Taokas Wisdom, Maritime Valor and Al-Bertito, scheduled to load/offload Iron Ore, Mogas and Coal are expected to take berths at MW-1, FOTCO and PIBT on Monday.
