KARACHI, Nov 21 (APP):Three ships, Sky Gate, Ncc Huda and Al-Soor-II carrying Sugar, Palm oil and Gas oil, berthed at Multi-Purpose Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal and FOTCO oil Terminal, respectively.
Meanwhile, two more ships, Manta Sena and Bolan, scheduled to load/offload Rice and Mogas, also arrived at the outer anchorage same day.
A total of five ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours. Out of them, two ships, Al-Amal and Qtaifan, left the port today morning, while another ship, Al-Soor-II, is expected to sail on Friday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 161,641 tonnes, comprising 143,054 tonnes of import cargo and 18,587 export cargo carried in 1,461 Containers (430 TEUs Imports &1,031 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during the last 24 hours.
There are 11 ships at the Outer Anchorage of Port Qasim, out of which three ships, Taokas Wisdom, Maritime Valor and Al-Bertito, scheduled to load/offload Iron Ore, Mogas and Coal are expected to take berths at MW-1, FOTCO and PIBT on Friday.
