KARACHI, Nov 12 (APP):Four ships, GFS Prime, Venus Halo, Zervos and Aquavita Bay scheduled to load/offload Container, Cement, Gas oil and Coal, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi-Purpose Terminal-2, FOTCO oil Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal respectively during last 24 hours.
Meanwhile three more ships, Hansa Africa, Regina and Harmony Gold carrying Container, Mogas and Coal also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hour.
Eight ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a edible oil carrier ‘Lila Ace’ left the port on today morning, while two more ships, GFS Prime and Al-Bidda are expected to sail on Wednesday.
Cargo volume of 144,411 tonnes, comprising 105,617 tonnes imports cargo and 38,794 export cargo carried in 2,370 Containers (805 TEUs Imports & 1,565 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
Eighteen ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them four ships, Khasab Silver, Marine Ista, Common Faith and Hansa Africa & another containers ship ‘MSC Lusia’ carrying Palm oil, Coal, Bunkering and Container are expected to take berths at LCT, PIBT and QICT on Wednesday.
