Rupee gains 03 paisa against US Dollar

ISLAMABAD, Oct 2 (APP): The Rupee on Thursday appreciated by 03 paisa against the US Dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs 281.27 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 281.30.
However, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs 282.2 and Rs 282.3, respectively.
The price of the Euro decreased by 26 paisa to close at Rs 330.49 against the last day’s closing of Rs 330.75, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese yen remained unchanged to close at Rs 1.91, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound rose by 65 paisa to Rs 379.56, compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 378.91.
The exchange rates of the Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal went down by 02 and 01 paisa to close at Rs 76.57 and Rs 74.99, respectively.
