The Rupee on Thursday appreciated by 01 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs279.11 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 279.12.

ISLAMABAD, Apr 2 (APP): The Rupee on Thursday appreciated by 01 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs279.11 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 279.12.

According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the Dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs279.1 and Rs280.20, respectively.

The price of the Euro against the rupee decreased by Rs 1.60 to close at Rs321.87 from the previous day’s close of Rs 323.47, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

The Japanese Yen came down by 01 paisa and closed at Rs1.74, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed a decline of Rs1.76 and closed at Rs368.85 compared to the previous day’s Rs370.61.

The exchange rate of the Emirate remained unchanged to close at Rs75.99, and the Saudi Riyal decreased by 01 paisa and closed at Rs74.35.
