RCCI President attends Pakistan Day Dinner at Pakistan House, Washington D.C.

RAWALPINDI, Mar 26 (APP): President of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), Usman Shaukat, attended a prestigious dinner hosted by Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Shaikh at Pakistan House, Washington D.C., in connection with Pakistan Day celebrations, says a press release issued here by RCCI on Thursday.

Upon arrival, the RCCI delegation, representing various sectors and led by President Usman Shaukat, received a warm welcome from the host and organizers. The event brought together officials and staff of the U.S. Department of State, media representatives, prominent business leaders, and members of the Pakistani diaspora.

Addressing the ceremony, Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Shaikh highlighted that the Pakistani nation has faced every challenge in its history with courage and resilience. He emphasized that the partnership between Pakistan and the United States is not only historic but also highly significant, positive, and productive.

He further stated that Pakistan has been among the countries most affected by terrorism and continues to bear the burden of combating it. Stressing Pakistan’s vital role in promoting regional peace and stability, the Ambassador underscored the need for close political and economic cooperation between the two nations. He reaffirmed that Pakistan is fully prepared to play a strong and effective role at both regional and global levels through its capability and competence.
