KARACHI, Oct 30 (APP): The total liquid foreign reserves of Pakistan stood at US$ 19,687.6 million as of 24 October while the reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan slightly increased to $ 14,471.6 million.
An increase of $16 million in SBP’s FX reserves during the week ended on 24 October 2025 was reported by the central bank on Thursday in its weekly statement on the position of liquid foreign reserves.
However, the net foreign reserves held by the commercial banks decreased by $ 182 million to $ 5,216 million, as shown in the reserves break up for the period under review.
Total liquid foreign reserves held by the country, in the previous week ended on October 17, 2025, were $ 19,853.5 million.
Among them the central bank held foreign reserves of $ 14,455.2 million while the other $ 5,398.3 million were held by the commercial banks.
